Award-winning author Xanna Vinson is a dabbler in herbalism, astrology, and gardening. She holds degrees from The College of New Jersey and Rider University.

Ms Vinson has had a multifaceted career as a science teacher, psychiatric social worker, human services administrator, graphic artist, packaging designer, public relations assistant, and copywriter.  She brings first-hand knowledge to her descriptions of Wiccan techniques and applications in The Song of an Emerald Dove, Xanna's first novel, which was released August 2005. The Song of an Emerald Dove won the 2007 Coalition of Visionary Resources (COVR) People's Choice Best New Book Award at INATS East in Orlando.

She now resides in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, very near her beloved shore.

Xanna is available for book signings, lectures, workshops, and other personal appearances. She has given workshops at various New Age and Pagan events in the New Jersey and New England area. In her presentation, "Listening to the Sentient Earth," she describes the many ways in which the Earth speaks to us and discusses our responsibilty to take care of Her and the ways in which we can answer that call.
