Jimahl's interest in the occult spans many years. He has devoted his spiritual path to exploring the mysteries of the goddess and to the preservation of the Craft for future generations. Areas of special interest include spiritualism, tarot and ceremonial magick. He also has a strong connection to the folklore and mystery of the Maya.

Recently he contributed several pages on the Alexandrian witchcraft tradition to Which Witch Is Which?: A Concise Guide To Wiccan And Neo-pagan Paths And Traditions.

A Voice in the Forest: Spirit Conversations with Alex Sanders, originally published in 1999 by Trident Publications, was re-prublished as an updated, enhanced version by Harvest Shadows on April 30, 2004.

He resides near Salem, MA with his two familiars, Storm and Charlie.
