A computer professional by day, at night Morven Westfield’s most likely to be reading books on the supernatural, vampires, herbs, or beading. Morven is a member of the New England Chapter of the Horror Writers of America (HWA), the National Association of Women Writers (NAWW), and Broad Universe.
The Old Power Returns, the sequel to her first novel, will be released in June 2007. Morven's debut novel, Darksome Thirst, was originally published in June 2003. A German-language version of Darksome Thirst is to be published as Brut der Finsternis in the summer of 2007 by Otherworld Verlag, an Austrian publishing company specializing in phantastic literature.
Morven is available for book signings, lectures, workshops, and other personal appearances. She has participated in panel discussions on writing at various events in the New England area.
