When we are open for submissions, we prefer electronic queries first. That is, we prefer a professionally worded email that describes your book or artwork and why you think we'd be interested in publishing it. No, we're not in this only for the money, but when a book is published, a publisher has to put up a large amount of money for the printing, production, and other costs. A publisher needs to know that -- at the very least -- the publisher can recoup the expenses.
