She holds degrees from The College of New Jersey and Rider University and is a member of the National Association of Women Writers (NAWW). Ms Vinson has had a multifaceted career as a science teacher, psychiatric social worker, human services administrator, graphic artist, packaging designer, public relations assistant, and copywriter.
