Author Jimahl di Fiosa

Harvest Shadows author Jimahl di Fiosa will give a workshop on Spirit Communication at 12 (noon) at the annual Maine Pagan Pride Day event in Portland, Maine.

Maine Pagan Pride Day is just one part of a series of Pagan pride events all over the nation, joining thousands of pagans together to celebrate diversity within spirituality and bringing awareness about the peaceful paths of Paganism to all who want to participate.

Here's the description of Jimahl's upcoming workshop:

"Ever since that strange little kid in THE SIXTH SENSE uttered those spooky words “I see dead people” popular culture has been fascinated with the concept of spirit communication. Is it really possible to communicate with those who have passed from the world of the living to the other side? Many of us seem to think so, but the question that remains is how? Join Jimahl di Fiosa, author of  A Voice in the Forest:  Spirit Communications with Alex Sanders, as he attempts to demystify the concept of spirit communication. Learn simple techniques that anyone can use to communicate with those who are no longer incarnate. Explore various techniques in a safe and supportive environment including the spirit board, automatic writing, and much more. What would you ask the dead if you could hear them speak? Bring along your spirit board and let’s discover the answers together."

Special guest, Podcaster Karagan of Tomar, Tomar, Portugal, who interviewed Jimahl for the WitchCrafting podcast, will be present at Shadows Publications book table. The WitchCrafting podcast, which is broadcast in both English and Portugese, is billed as "Pagan Talk for Pagan People."  Visit The WitchCrafting podcast at Podomatic.com to listen to Episode 5, in which Jimahl is interviewed.

Harvest Shadows author Morven Westfield will also be at the HSP table, greeting customers and signing books. Morven has written two novels that combine vampires, modern-day witches, and geeks. Her latest, The Old Power Returns, was released in June 2007.
