On Saturday, October 27, 2007, award-Winning author of The Song of an Emerald Dove will present "Messages from Mother," in which she talks about the many ways in which the Earth speaks to us, and the ways in which we can answer that call.

The Maya warned that in this century the Earth Mother would shrug Her shoulders, announcing Her discontent, removing all that would harm Her. Have we been watching and listening? Xanna reads excerpts from The Song of an Emerald Dove and weaves the experiences of its women into the telling.

Xanna Vinson has worked for decades to understand the signs, obtain information, and find others who share her concerns. What do other cultures say about the interrelatedness of our lives and that of the Earth Mother's? As spiritual people, what is our responsibility to the Earth and our fellow travelers?
