Morven Westifeld, author of two vampire novels, will be participating in a group reading at Boskone 45 in Boston, Massachusetts, over Presidents' Day weekend.
Along with other members of Broad Universe, an organization of women writers of speculative fiction, author Morven Westfield will participate in a "rapid-fire reading." In a rapid-fire reading, a number of different authors read from their work, the length of time dependent on the number of readers. The audience is treated to a variety of styles, stories, and themes in the one-hour time slot. Boskone is a well-established regional Science Fiction convention that also covers horror and fantasy genres as well. Westfield's novels, which feature vampires and modern-day Wiccans, appeal to lovers of dark fantasy and supernatural horror. |
