As announced earlier, Harvest Shadows Publications has entered the eBook arena with the availability of selected titles in Kindle format.
Harvest Shadows Publications has start offering selecting titles for reading on the Kindle eBook reader. The first title selected is Darksome Thirst, the fascinating story of a female computer operator who meets a vampire in the computer room. Seduced as much by logic as by the vampire, the book chronicles her experience — and battle — with the vampire. Darksome Thirst is the first in a successful fiction series involving vampires and the Wiccans (modern-day witches) who help Alicia do battle with them. The second book in the series, The Old Power Returns, will also be available for the Kindle soon. Though Westfield's novels have been categorized as horror, the "gentle horror" and lack of excess gore has them also characterized as dark fantasy.
About the Kindle According to Amazon's web site, you can store as many as 200 different electronic books at a time on the device, making it the ideal traveling companion. Watch for a formal press release here announcing which titles will be available. At that time, prices will also be announced. Generally eBook prices are much less expensive than paper costs because of the reduced cost to produce and deliver the books. |
